Join Griselda for a creative day of making hoops, this is the perfect way to expand your existing skills or jump into jewelry making in general. In this class you will explore how to form a strip of metal sheet into cuffed hoops. You will take 4 hours to understand the basics of making a hoop, including sizing, texturing, and soldering an earring post. Griselda will walk you through the steps to making a brand new pair of beautiful handmade hoops. With the knowledge gained from this class you can make multiple iterations of these for others, only $15 an hour to use our studio space to make more hoops. Learn more about studio rental here.
Materials in your kit:
- 20 gauge brass or copper sheet- cut to size.
- sterling silver earring post.
- sterling silver earring nut- for a secure hold.
