Learn the Fundamentals of Prong Setting
In this class Liam will walk you through setting a 5 mm round CZ. Then he will move on the a pear shape and a princess. You will learn to set these stones into a precast bronze rings. This course does not cover the creation of the setting, it will only go over the setting of the stone and light finishing techniques.
What’s included in my kit fee?
- Six cast bronze rings with stone setting (2-pear, princess, and round)
- Three Pear Cubic Zirconia ( 9.5 x 6.5 mm)
- Three Princess cut Cubic Zirconia (7 x 7 mm)
- Three Round Cubic Zirconia (5 mm )
- One 3 mm setting, round burr, and hart bur
What if I don’t have jewelry experience?
We ask that you please come in with pre-existing jewelry making experience. This course is teaching a technique that requires you to have existing bench abilities. If you’re looking for a beginner course to get you started. We recommend our Benchwork Basics course.
