Learn the Champlevé Technique
In this Halloween enameling class, you’ll discover the process of wet-packing enamel into recessed metal spaces. After applying your enamel, your piece will be fired in a kiln to achieve a durable, glossy finish. This technique is part of the ancient champlevé tradition, a decorative art dating back to medieval Europe. Originally used for intricate jewelry and ceremonial objects, champlevé has stood the test of time as a stunning way to add color and texture to metal.
