Class Overview
Celebrate Halloween with a cozy and creative evening in our Pumpkin Charm Carving workshop! Guided by jeweler and instructor Jaime Foley, you’ll learn the fundamentals of wax carving while creating your very own tiny pumpkin charm. This class is designed with beginners in mind and offers a welcoming introduction to the world of jewelry casting. By the end of the night, you’ll have a wax design ready to be transformed into metal.
What You’ll Learn
Students will be introduced to the basics of wax carving, they will focus on shaping, refining, and adding wax wire to create a miniature pumpkin design. Jaime will guide you step-by-step, making this class approachable even if it’s your very first time. Once your carving is complete, it will be prepared for casting—giving you the satisfaction of seeing your wax design become wearable jewelry.
Materials Provided
Your kit includes all tools and supplies for wax carving, as well as the casting service for your finished piece. Please note: casting grain (metal) is not included and must be purchased separately. This allows you to choose the metal you’d like your charm to be made in.
