Large Scale Sand Casting!
Learn to sand cast on a larger scale in bronze. Rooster will walk you through making impressions to create a larger design. Day one of the coure will be spent discussing design for the green sand molding process. Each student will design a belt buckle out of modeling clay. Day two will be spent molding and casting the designs. Then learning how to install belt buckle hardware. Students may choose between a darkened patina or polished finished for their belt buckle.
We encourage you to come in with a design idea, please keep your designs within a 2.5″ x 4″.
