Stone Setting- With a Twist!
Join Zeineb for this fun tube setting class with an astrological theme. She will be teaching how to tube set as well as how to create a pendant with multiple of these settings. You don’t have to do a constellation for your final project, but your final design will require soldering tubes to sterling silver sheet and setting multiple cubic zirconia (CZ) into a one-of-a-kind pendant regardless.
We will have white and colorful CZ’s available. We are planning to order red, green, and blue but if you want a certain color please note that we need a 3 mm round cz for this class.
Whats in my kit?
- 1×2″ 22 gauge sterling silver sheet
- 1×2″ 20 gauge copper sheet
- 3″ of 20 gauge sterling silver round wire
- 1 inch of 3.5 mm heavy wall sterling silver tubing
- 3 white 3 mm CZ’s
- choice of 3 colorful 3 mm CZ’s (red, blue, or green)
- 2.7 mm Busch ball bur
- 3 mm Busch setting bur
- #61 drill bit
