Create Your Own Metal Nail Art
Add a little shine to your season! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make your own custom set of metal nails using 26-gauge brass, copper, or silver sheet. Whether you’re looking for a creative project or a bold accessory, this workshop offers a fun introduction to forming and texturing techniques.
Under the guidance of Alaine Hutson, you’ll shape, cut, and finish each nail to fit comfortably and securely. You’ll also explore texturing and polishing options to create a personalized look.
Learn Practical Skills
Throughout this three-session course, you’ll develop foundational metalworking skills that apply to jewelry making and beyond. You’ll practice precise measuring, controlled forming, and refined finishing. These techniques are great for anyone interested in wearable art or small-scale metalsmithing projects.
Not only are these custom nails stylish and unique, but they also serve a practical purpose. Many jewelers mess up their nails when working on tough project and these offer an interesting way to protect your nail beds.
