Learn the basics of sand casting in this hands-on beginner class. You’ll sculpt a small wax model, create a sand mold, and pour molten bronze using a torch. We’ll guide you through essential techniques like part lines, wax sculpting, mold preparation, sand mold packing, torch firing metal, sawing, chasing, and basic patination.
Leave with your own finished bronze casting (about ½” x ½”) and a solid foundation in small-scale metal casting.
